38+ Years of Greatness!!!

Following along with the "end of school theme" .... "HAPPY RETIREMENT PAPA DOC"!  It is so hard to believe that you are retiring from OBU as it has been such a big part of our lives for so long!  Some of my earliest memories are revolve around OBU and visits to you in your office, football games, bowling parties, and so much more!  Not to mention, since that is where I met my hubby, it holds an extra special place in my heart!!  We are so glad that we all got to be there to celebrate "YOU, Papa Doc"!  You have touched so many lives, and because of that, your legacy will live on!

All of the 2012 Retirees!

Before the big retirement bash, the cousins got to hang out at the lake and the pics are cute so I just have to include them on this post!

We love you Papa Doc!

Bye Bye 3rd Grade!!!!

Nate Man, you were the big man on campus this year, the top dog, the upper-class man.... it was your last year at Centerpoint Primary!  I cannot believe you are done with 3rd Grade and will be headed to the middle school in Amity next year!  You had a wonderful year and "socially blossomed" .... meaning you came out of your shell and became Mr. Social!  LOL!  There is quite a group of little boys that you like to hang with in your grade, you will all be heart breakers in future years (don't date until you are 20)!  You constantly amaze me with your ability to make good grades without much help from your mom and dad.  I'm so glad that you enjoy school and that so far it has been pretty easy for you.  You are a happy and self-confident kiddo and I pray you always will be!

FUN DAY!

Nate, you've grown up so much this year and it breaks this mama's heart to see her "baby" slipping away but it also brings a smile to my face to watch you grow in to and extraordinary young man!

 Love Ya! Mom

Bye Bye Kindergarten!!!!

This year, Zachy had a great year in Kindergarten with Mrs. Evans at Centerpoint Primary!!!  The beginning of the year was very stressful for both mommy and Zac, but after some adjustments and changes.... it didn't take long before we were all smiles and NO MORE TEARS!  Mrs. Evans was just the teacher for Zac this year, she was full of encouragement and always ready with a hug.  I'm so proud of all you learned this year Zac, you are an excellent reader and your writing skills have improved so much!  Zac's end of school included ..........

I love you Zac Attack!  You are growing up before my very eyes!  And yes I still call you my baby, which you don't care for much.... but even when you and your brothers' tower over me, you will all still be called, "my baby"!

Bye Bye K-3!!!

The end of school is ALWAYS so busy!  Ben Ben had a wonderful year at school with Mrs. Kelly in K-3.  We are really lucky because he actually got to have her for 2 years and she is such a wonderful teacher and has taught all 3 of my boys!  We love Mrs. Kelly!

Our spring field trip was to Timberlodge!  One of the great things about being able to stay home with the boys is being able to go with them on their field trips!   At Timberlodge the kiddos got to see animals, zipline, bounce in a bounce house, play on the swing set, play games and eat lunch!  They had a wonderful time!

Very excited about the zipline and getting harnessed up!

Ben Ben having second thoughts!

Ben Ben telling them "no way"  I'm NOT going (and he didn't)!  LOL!

 Brave Chloe!!

The very last day of school they have an end of the year awards program.  This year it was tearful because Mrs. Kelly said, "This was a momentous year, because I've now had all of the 3 Oosterhous boys"!  Boo hoo I cannot believe I will not have any more babies going to K-3 with Mrs. Kelly!!!  My baby is growing up!

Ben Ben and Mrs. Kelly!  What a fabulous year you had little man in K-3!  Can't wait to see what adventures K-4 brings!
