Good Things come in Threes!

I wrote this post like 2 weeks ago but haven't put it up because I've been to busy to upload all of the great pics I have so I'll just upload a few and get this one up so I can write about all of the end of the year school events!)
Last weekend we celebrated 3 important events: Mother's Day, Papa Doc's 65th Birthday and Matthew's Baptism! It was a wonderful weekend shared with family that involved a lot of eating and what seemed like constant swimming by the kiddos! Jen and Rich were the perfect hosts and we couldn't have enjoyed ourselves more! The perfect weekend was made even more perfect due to the fact that Molly gave her aunt Kara lots of extra love! I love my Molly Girl!

As the pictures below show, the kiddos were in their suits anytime possible.... from morning to night! Couldn't have made the trip solo without Nana and Papa Doc! Thanks to Papaw Guy and Mamaw Sheila for helping the rest of us keep an eye on the kiddos... Ben has officially adopted you as another set of grandparents!

We got so see Matt play ball while his daddy coached. But the best part of the weekend was watching precious Matthew tell his church on the big screen that he had asked Christ into his heart.... it was priceless! I'm so glad that we got to share this wonderful experience with him. I'm so thankful for my sis and her family, the are so precious to me and mine!

Easter!

Easter (better do a quick recap before I post about Mother's Day weekend)! We had a great Easter weekend very low key but very nice.

The two blondies had Easter parties at school where they had yummy food and hunted eggs (my camera battery was dead)! They had a blast and I was able to attend both parties with my "little bunnies"!!!

Easter morning the boys awoke to find their baskets filled with goodies from the Easter Bunny and then it was off to church for the Oosterhous Family! After church, once we got Ben down for a nap, I realized that Nate hadn't had an egg hunt this year; so we went outside and had one just for Nate!

My favorite part of Easter this year has been when Ben tells the Easter story. He knows the story from the beginning with the Crucifixion to the end with Christ's resurrection and it is so precious to hear him tell it. Now that it is two weeks after Easter, Ben tells us that Jesus was nailed to the "crossbow".... I've tried to correct him...."Ben, Jesus was nailed to the cross and daddy hunts with the crossbow." To which he replies, "I know mom, Jesus was nailed to the crossbow with 3 nails!" Sweet boy.

It was a great Easter, and I think all 3 boys recognize the reason we celebrate Easter! "Christ Our Lord is Risen Today.... Hallelujah"!
