End of School: Nate

Nate, another year has gone by!  You totally rocked 4th grade!  Academically, I had been forewarned that this year would be one of the hardest... and it was!  You had a great year on a new campus at the middle school in Amity!  We loved your homeroom teacher Mrs. Miller (our preacher's wife)!

You had soooo many field trips... but parents weren't really invited to go on any of them!  Sniff, Sniff, another sign that you are growing up way to fast!  You got to go to Hot Springs to climb the tower and go to the mall with your GT group; you went to Timberlodge for meeting your AR math goals; and you got to go to Magic Springs AR reading goals!  You had a blast at Magic Springs, the one field trip I could have gone on but poor Ben Ben had a stomach bug!  You said that the day you were at Magic Springs was the best school day you had ever had!

You are such a smart kiddo, you were the ONLY kiddo in you class to get all A's every 9 weeks for the entire year!  At the year end awards ceremony you received the science, social studies, and reading awards for having the highest grade-point at the end of the year in each subject for your entire grade!  Way to go buddy!  You are growing up so fast, each year I see less and less of a little boy!  We love and are so proud of all of your hard work!

End of School: Zac

Zachy, what a wonderful year of 1st grade you had!!  It has been such a joy to watch you grow in so many ways this year! By the very end of the year, you were missing your two front teeth!!

Your year-end field trip was to the Alligator Farm in Hot Springs and to Play by Play!  You had a wonderful time at both and were so happy to be out of school for the day!

I was so excited that you still wanted your mom to go on the field trip with you!

We couldn't have asked for a better teacher, Mrs. Pedron was the perfect fit for you.... she knew you and loved you long before you walked through her door! You thought it was pretty cool that your best buddy Jeb's mom was your teacher!

Your last days of first grade were fun-filled ... with a day of outdoor fun!

You worked hard and made all A's all year long and you are reading above level!  Way to go! Your year-end awards were numerous... All A's, reading and math, and even the Music Award!  I am so proud of you Zac!  Your mommy & daddy sure are proud of you!

End of School: Ben

Ben Ben, I cannot believe that you will be in kindergarten next year.  Most likely this was your last year at the Christian School which has been such a huge part of your young life and that of your brother's!  I think we have had some one there since winter 2007, and it has been such a blessing to know that such wonderful Christian teachers have guided you in your young walk with Christ and your education! You were so blessed to have Mrs. Angie as your teacher this year!  You was your school mom!

This year during the end of year program you were dressed up like a cowboy and your big line in the program was "Yee Haw"!  You did wonderful!  This was one of my favorite things about the Christian School... the programs they put on each year!

You were so excited, your end of school fieldtrip this year was to Jump City and you had a blast!  I'm surprised I was able to get you out the front door without any protests!

You have had a wonderful year with Ms. Angie and all of your friends, including your buds: Gabe and Judd!

You have learned so much... bible stories, letters, numbers and even the beginning stages of how to read!  We love you and we couldn't be more proud of you!

Happy Birthday Middle Man! You can't be 8!!

Zachy, it is so hard to believe that you are 8 years old!  You are such a joy and always keep things interesting.  When I need a hug or a kiss I know that you will freely give it!  We had a celebration on your actual birthday... I think those pics may be on daddy's phone (obviously I need to get more organized in the photograph department), complete with birthday breakfast of your choice and and cupcakes!

You had so much fun at your brother's birthday... you decided you wanted to do the same thing........... Chick Fil A and Fun Trackers!  We took your brothers, Jeb, Eli and Nathan along for the celebration!  You guys had a blast and were so fun to watch!  Afterwards Eli & Jeb stayed to spend the night and it was so fun overhearing your conversations.

Love you little man!  I know this year is going to be great!
