Life at the Beach is THE BEST!!!!
We had a wonderful time in Pensacola this year with mom & dad; the Williams' crew; and Mar Mar and Uncle Jim! It would've been a PERFECT week if daddy could have been with us, but because of his new job, he had to stay home! Boohoo.... but he will be back next year! It was a week filled with lots of fun, family, and food (my favorite combo)!
Each day of our vacation basically went like this:
1. Wake up around 6:30 & eat breakfast at 7:00 (oatmeal, waffles, yogurt, & cereal... YUM)
2. Out to the beach or at the pool from 8:30 - 11:30 (football, sandcastles, boogie boarding, swimming, collecting seashells, and more)
3. Lunch and then naps for EVERYONE, even me
4. Afternoon at the beach & pool from 3:00 until 4:30
5. Dinner at 5:30 (lots of yummy food and lots of fun things for the kiddos)
6. Down to the beach by 8:30 for crabbing!!!!!
7. 10:00 - LIGHTS OUT
REPEAT for 4 days!
All of the kiddos enjoyed the ocean this year and spent a lot of the first two days there. However, after a couple of jellyfish stings, we ended up collecting a lot of shells and building sandcastles!
And when we needed a change of scenery..... we headed to the pool(s)!
Below are some pics my sweet sis took of our family. It is impossible to get 3 boys looking in the same direction and ... smiling at the same time! LOL! I will always treasure these pics and the memories made!
